Another class project

These pictures are from Christmas last winter. I am so close to being caught up with scrapbooking my pictures. Making digital pages really speeds up my "production" time. I'm enjoying what I'm learning in the class. And no mess to clean up!

Photoshop Class

I'm taking an online Photoshop class called Now We're Rockin With Photoshop and here are my first two layouts from the course. I've learned a few new things to do in Photoshop, and am excited to use my new skills.

Back to paper and scissors

I started Ethen's album a few days ago. Here is the title page for it. I am using Becky Higgins' Sweet Baby kit for his album, hoping that I will be able to stay current.

Good Friday is a holiday here in Switzerland. We headed to Bern, Switzerland to check it out. There is a very old church there, and while Dave climbed the bell tower I stayed outside with the kids. At one point I looked up to see what he was climbing, and to my dismay this is what I saw. Aah!

Creepy, huh? It's a wonder anyone feels the spirit in these churches, with the weird art they are adorned with. Dave made a good point when he said, "Do you really think this is the type of church Christ would build if he were here?"

Here is some more pleasant architecture around Old Town Bern:

Week 14

I hate being the foreigner. It makes my life difficult. I can't just run my daily errands like I want to. Today I had to have a friend meet me at the post office so I could buy stamps. Really! I also had to mail a few packages (yes, the last of the created-by-me blog winner prizes are off! Don't expect them any time soon though, the cheapest way to mail it was, let's say NOT cheap. I truly hope they arrive unbroken.)

Anyway, La Poste here is quite the adventure. Did you know I can pay my tithing at the post office!? Weird. Oh, and I could buy a cell phone or a dvd there if I wanted to. All bills are paid at the post office - my hospital bill (WOWEE), the bill for having a tv or radio (YES, TRUE), and even the bill for insuring my neighbor against myself (WHAT?)

Next errand? I'm going to try and tackle the pharmacy.
