Days of December 2014 | Week 2

Day 7

Day 8

Day 9

I tucked the journaling tag right between the two letters to Santa, and it can be pulled out and read.

Day 10

Day 11

This tag is off of the gift bag that Noel brought.  I have to make a note here that I made Ethen's shirt!  Noel is getting the credit as far as my kids are concerned (about a lot of things actually :), but I doubt they'll be reading this so I can tell the secret.

I searched for a deer silhouette image on the internet and brought the file into my Silhouette Portrait software to trace.  Then I got some iron-on adhesive transfer and stuck it to a shirt I bought from Target.  Easy as pie!

Day 12

This is another Project Life 6x6 memorabilia pocket.  I used it to store the program from the live nativity.

I just pasted a piece of paper to the back of the memorabilia pocket to add some journaling.

Days of December 2014 | Week 1

This year I am continuing my tradition of documenting each day in December.  These are always fun times, and my kids and I love to look through past years to see traditions developing and how things have changed.

This year I am using a Red Leather 6x8 Album from Simple Stories.  So far I haven't embellished the front cover at all.  I think I will just leave it plain this year.  Most of the paper and embellishments I am using inside come from the Pink Paislee Merry & Bright Collection.

Generally I try to document what Noel (our Scout Elf) has been up to, and also something that we did that day.

These wood veneer ornaments came from Target.

I cut "the halls" with my Silhouette Portrait using sticker paper.

I tucked my Christmas Card into a Project Life 6x6 Pocket.  The Special Delivery tag is a freebie from Pink Paislee.  On their blog they are offering a free item each day for download for their Countdown to Christmas.

It's hard to tell in the photo above, but this page just has some sequins sewn into the clear pockets.
