Rain

One of the great things about digital scrapbooking is its versatility. I made this layout for Maya's album, and then once the frame work was laid, it took me about 90 seconds to make a similar one for Ethen.

A Day in the Clouds

We went to a resort called Genting Highlands that is located in the top of a mountain at about 5,774 feet. We weren't really prepared at how cool it was going to be. After all, we are in the middle of a rainforest.

Maya was thrilled that she got to drive a "real live car." Ethen was a little uneasy on the flying rocketships, the first ride we rode. But by the end of the day he was hanging his head out of the ferris wheel window.

Maya learned that dinosaurs are now extinct and she doesn't need to worry about the T-rex that roared at her.

We only had one trip and fall that popped our balloon, but the rest of the day was accident-free. Luckily the clown made us another one.

I was carsick by the time we arrived at the top of the mountain, but the drive was absolutely beautiful with the lush green trees and mountains.

We passed a Taoist temple that is built on the same mountain. Maybe we'll one day have to go back and explore this place.

So close...

...I'm almost done with my 2010 layouts. Only 10 more to go.

Here are a few random ones I've finished from last years happenings. A couple digital, and a couple traditional.
